Just tried this product 2 nights ago, and all I can say is, “Move over Zataran’s”. This was delicious and made a boatload. I boiled a cut-up chicken; about 15 minutes before it was done, I added 3 large links of beef smoked sausage, didn’t have any good andoiulles handy. Then added the rice mixture. About 5 minutes before it being done, I laid large shrimp on top….we chowed down. It was really good. Bought it at the Winn Dixie in Perry, Fl while visiting. It is not available at the Winn Dixie in the Tampa Bay Area where I live. I hope you rectify that soon…Great product!!
I tried Dixie Lily Jambalaya Rice Mix approximately one month ago. I sliced a Johnsonville Andoiulles sausage and place it along with the water and appropriate measure of rice into my rice cooker. In 25 minutes, it was perfectly cooked. I will definitely purchase this rice mix again. I purchased it at our local Food Lion. Love it!
Thank you so much for your kind words about our Jambalaya. We are obviously partial but we think it is the best Jambalaya on the market. Please also try our yellow rice, white rice and beans that we also sell at Food Lion. We appreciate your business.
