  1. Best cornmeal ever. But I can’t get it in Pennsylvania. I am on my way to Alabama and Georgia I hope to pick some up while I am there

        1. Thank you so much for contacting us. Our research shows that approximately 88% of the corn grown in the US is genetically modified in some way. Our corn suppliers do not claim to be non-genetically modified. We hope this information helps.

          1. Oh yes, it surely does. Is there a possibility you will acknowledge this on your packaging? Thank you!

  2. I just purchased a bag of your sifted White stone ground self rising Corn Meal at a local IGA near Palm Coast here in Florida. I bought it because our last name is Arnett.😀. I made the recipe for Corn bread in my muffin tins. Delicious. I drizzled a bit of honey on to eat it. Thank you!

  3. I am living the hard the life in Illinois without my Dixie Lily plain yellow, cornmeal or grits. I had some shipped to me, but I just can’t believe the difference in food. I love making cornbread with cornmeal. If it is just me I will fry up some plain yellow stone ground cornmeal by just adding a touch of salt and water until the cornmeal has the consistency of grits. Then pour the batter into hot cooking oil let the bottom get golden brown and the edges hard then flip to brown the other side. Family favorite cornbread with meals. Note seems like the first pancake never turns out right, I toss it, but this always help in getting the cooking oil the exact temp you need to fry up the remaining cornmeal batter.
Some people use milk but I love the taste I get with just using salt and water with the cornmeal some people also call it lace cornbread.
