- 1 cup of white rice
- 1 clove of minced garlic
- ½ cup of cilantro
- 1 lime, juiced
- ½ teaspoon of lime zest
- ½ teaspoon of salt
- Olive oil
- Sauté garlic in a saucepan with olive oil for 30 seconds to 1 minute.
- Then add rice and salt.
- Bring 2 cups of water to a boil in a saucepan then reduce the heat.
- Allow rice to simmer for 20 minutes or until water is absorbed.
- Once finished, remove from heat and fluff rice with a fork.
- Add cilantro, lime, and lime zest and mix.
